New Scarf!
August 1, 2008This is my favorite knitting project yet – I just love the way it turned out.
- Scarf 1
- Scarf 2
- Scarf 3
UPDATE: I added details on how it was made after the jump.

Warm Fuzzies
April 23, 2008My sister Sarah gave me this book for my birthday. I looked through it about 20 times but haven’t been able to decide on where to start yet – there is a lot of cute projects in there. I think I’m going to start simple and try a cupcake pin cushion first. That will be a quick weekend project.
The best thing about these projects is how easy they are to make…and there’s no knitting involved! Simply throw old wool sweaters into the wash to make fabulous felted material, then cut the pieces apart and use them to make felted goodies. Start with the sweet Cupcake Pincushion–they’re so easy, and so very cute!

March For Babies
April 10, 2008March For Babies - Donate here!
The March of Dimes mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
The March of Dimes has changed the name of its biggest event to March for Babies. It’s a great change because it makes it very clear exactly who we are walking for — all babies. It’s very exciting to be a part of the “first” March for Babies!
Although the name of this signature event changed, the mission did not. The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.
Our team has joined thousands of compassionate teams across the country that support March for Babies. Won’t you please help us in this worthy cause? Join us in the walk that helps all moms and babies.

Wonder Woman Sweater
March 31, 2008This sweater is definitely not for me, but I applaud the knitter’s creativity and dedication!

So, umm… hey
March 25, 2008Still here! I haven’t posted anything in such a long time because I’ve done almost no knitting since I finished the bag below. I’ve been busy with school, work, house, blah blah blah. I will do my best to start posting in a more regular fashion, though.

*chirp chirp beep*
February 21, 2008Check out the R2D2 knit hat on a very cool blog I just discovered! This appeals to the nerdy knitter in me (found via Giz). I will put it in my queue but I’m so behind right now I’ll probably get to it in 2012. I’m not crazy about the projecting bits, but otherwise I love it!
The queue:
Put in lining of Christmas Rose bag
Scarlet and gray scarves for my mom and dad (GO BUCKS!)
Kenobi jacket for Jeff
Fingerless gloves
R2D2 hat maybe?
